The Sapphires, bush & where's Wally all on the TiltTrain

After a wonderful week spent looking for ''Wally'' with our lovely little grandchildren it was time to go home.............

The Tilt Train' so much to see we even saw camels, & that was way before I had my lunch/glass of red' heheee  

No fisherman waving this day..................

Changed this to B/W as the sun was to harsh & the train to fast & the windows tinted  I know excuses excuses! but you can still see how wonderful the scenery is.........

Hogwarts visit Brisbane.....

Love this little fellow every time I walked past him I felt he was watching me more than I was watching him. His eyes seem to follow me.....................

Hogwarts visit to Brisbane if you look very closely you can see a lot of strange, eccentric architecture. A lot of old quirky alleyways,unusually odd shaped doors & crazy little windows' extremely old sandstone with the oddest of odd old features..... Next time you visit Brisbane' close your eyes I promise you you will hear an owl hoo hoo hooting & a small voice saying not now Hedwig

 A strange sense of children lots & lots of  children & you can somehow feel the ''Magic'' yet when you open you eyes & look around just the sight & sound of a busy city nothing more nothing less very strange indeed!  

LoVe the tiny colored glass on the path, Behind the green grills a small window' deep down in the basement, sometimes in the wee hours of the morning you can see a fog of silver & gold smoldering dust creeping out from the gap along the windowsill where they are trying the latest wizardry wand.........

Very strong Handsomely crafted door' Perfect size for Hagrid mind you not sure wear he leaves his boots......... 

Design's at the side of the gates the crisscross just love it.

I'm not that great with words but you get it a ''they were not only made to look grand they were made to last...

Ron Weasley  lol  just got a glimmer of his red hair swaying out from the cast iron gates, not sure why hes in a hurry but Lego & slugs are following him very weird!  

Old stone balustrade look at the shape sure this alone would of kept the stone mason in work for a long time.....How do they do it the Balustrade just moved across to the other side then back again 'Oooo have to stop drinking green tea! Wish I had of taken photos of the flooring just a little glimpse left corner ! Always ( next time)

Well almost till Harry Potter & Hermione working on spells they managed to burn the bottom lower part of the wall & a hole right next to the window' the lights from the other room's went flying threw the ceiling & into the gold fish pond, the poor gold fish one by one they turned blue.................

Sandstone Columns Breast & Brisbane

The workmanship on these buildings are so beautiful have you every really stopped & looked up. Totally incredible  magnificent never mind the boobs' hehee although the ladies are very beautifully sculpt,  look at the scrolls the perfect lines the squares.........    

The size of these Columns just enormous & then the Beautiful circled windows wrapped around with perfect edging leaf designs on top of each window. The architecture of this beautiful building leaves nothing untouched.........   

The stone itself is breathtaking' call me mad I just adore this' the shapes the intricate details the large dept of the window sill's & tiny square windows.......

Just a passing thought... have to get my gardener to trim the tree while indulging in our usual vintage High-Afternoon Tea, served with cucumber sandwiches followed with scrumptious raspberry fluffy scones fit for a ''Queen'' that's me silly! back to the (gardener )  I realized I couldn't see out side ''my'' window ............Happy day everyone!

 Not only do they have to be up way before sunrise a lot of the market stall holders travel quite a distance then they have to set up tent' almost like a theater they have to not only have fresh food their tent is like a stage & the people buying are the audience so the actors have to put on a great show for the audience to come back for more!

Wonderfully  ''Fresh'' fruit & veggies grab a snack for lunch,take home for the week who needs the big supermarkets......ok 

Now this is my ''favorite of all everybody knows I'm a flower nut This particular morning I wanted to buy them all & take them home with me I felt sad as I only had my camera with me' Anywho I asked the lady if I could take some photos' she's as lovely as her flowers!

Brisbane really makes the most of the river that flows around this great city

you can take  an hour trip up the river so relaxing &  a wonderful way to see Brisbane!

We walked over to catch the ferry to South bank safe swimming, weekend markets the arts & culture'wonderful food food & more food' public transport like no other!

 Good ''luck'' will rub of when I shake hands with you!

 I love the old with the new they complement one another Lets hope this wonderful huge part of Brisbane history lives on happily ever after

Great city, easy to walk around great place to relax or if you want excitement Brisbane has it all!   ok of to have my spoon full of sugar help the medicine go down medicine go down...yep got the flu!

The streets were a buzz of Christmas shoppers, we on the other hand were more contented to dwell on the beauty of how far our eyes could take us on a magical view of Brisbane from this great height...
